"Made of Stone" documentary about The Stone Roses (Warp Films)

The project

This documentary, "Made of Stone", is about the British band "The Stone Roses" from Manchester, who have been called several times as "The best band ever" - and have always been by far Oasis' favourite band.

The Stone Roses reformed after 17 years of silence. As a fan, the multi-award winning director Shane Meadows (This Is England) could not believe it when the singer Ian Brown called him to make a documentary about the band.

The project is about the Premiere of the documentary, held in Manchester on Thursday 30th of May 2013. Coco Ding Ding was there to perform a VJ set.

The challenge

For this Premiere held in Manchester, 3,000 people bought tickets to watch the documentary in two screenings of 1,500 each, in presence of Channel 4, The Stone Roses, and Shane Meadows.

Coco Ding Ding Audiovisuals was asked to VJ at the premiere in the VIP room for the after party. We had just a couple of days to organise everything.

Here's the trailer of the documentary:

The solution
